    • OneAsia New Office Opening

      OneAsia has relocated its headquarters to a brand-new office on 15th December. Our bright and open common area aims to boost employee engagement. We also set up workout equipment to promote work–life balance and well-being at workplace. Some other highlights of the office include a fabulous harbour view, interactive whiteboard-equipped conference rooms, and an aquaponic system.

    • Presentation of "Where Are the Next Hubs of APAC Connectivity" at Cloud Expo Asia

      Darryl Chiew, Executive Director of OneAsia, gave an insightful presentation on why Thailand is the next data connectivity hub in ASEAN.

      In addition to a vibrant and much larger population than Singapore and Hong Kong, Thailand also witnesses a growing middle and upper class with 75% internet users and 96 million mobile internet users, underlying the potentially massive demand for data and connectivity services.

      OneAsia has been a major player in APAC's data centre market for years and will be launching its 1st international data centre in Thailand in 1H2023 to catch the huge market potential. The data centre will be located at North Bangkok with 20MW planned for service.


    • Keynote Presentation at W.Media Hong Kong Cloud & Datacentre Convention 2022

      Keeny Leung, Technology & Business Director of OneAsia Network shared a keynote presentation of Where to Build Data Centres in Crowded Hong Kong? Data Centre Going Underground at Hong Kong Cloud & Datacentre Convention on September 21st.

      In the speech, Keeny Leung addressed questions like whether underground data centres are possible for Hong Kong and how Hong Kong can capture the growth opportunity for data centres faced with a shortage of land suitable for data centre construction.


    • OneAsia Launched its High-Performance Computing Solution OAsis

      OneAsia launched its High-Performance Computing solution OAsis, the first of its kind in Hong Kong, enhancing Hong Kong's positioning as the International Centre of Innovative Technology and contributing to the Chinese government's construction of a national computing network.

      OAsis is expected to empower complex data computing and simulation to advance academic and industry innovation, which will in turn enhance Hong Kong's R&D capabilities and positioning as the International Centre of Innovative Technology.

      OneAsia is proud to launch an immersion cooling solution starting this September. This new solution significantly reduces data centre energy consumption by 45% and provides more reliable performance with up to 10x increase in computing density.

    • OneAsia Shared Insights on Business Opportunities Between Hong Kong and Thailand During HKSAR 25th Anniversary Dinner

      It was such a great sharing of insights at the panel discussion “25 Years and Beyond - Opportunities in Thailand and Hong Kong” during the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) celebration business dinner. On behalf of OneAsia, our Thailand General Manager-Timothy Wong shed light on the business opportunities and potential areas of collaboration between Hong Kong and Thailand.

      The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Bangkok (Bangkok ETO) organized a series of celebratory events entitled "Hong Kong Week" to mark the 25th anniversary of the HKSAR. The events included a business dinner, which was hosted by Bangkok ETO, the Thai-Hong Kong Association, and Hong Kong Trade Development Council on July 19.

      Let’s take a peek at our first international groundbreaking ceremony! We are pleased to present the upcoming North Bangkok Data Center located in Nava Nakorn Industrial Zone, Thailand. Following the footprints in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Nantong, Guangzhou, and Busan, we forge forward our expansion plans in the region.

      Hello Busan! We are delighted to announce our first data center in South Korea, located at Mieum Industrial Park in Busan-Jinhae Free Economic Zone, an optimal business and IT hub for multi-national companies.

      This remarkable project seals the comprehensive partnership between OneAsia, Busan Metropolitan City, Busan Metropolitan Corporation, and Busan - Jinhae Free Economic Zone Authority. The data center campus covers approximately 88,000 square meters with an IT power capacity of 80MW. It is expected to start operation in Q1 2024.

      We believe the OneAsia DC Campus will be a regional critical IT hub in the North Asia region and a springboard for multi-national internet-based companies to enter the Korean market. It also provides a reliable and advanced digital infrastructure to support the rapid development of innovation and technology in South Korea.

    • Guangzhou Data Center Park

      We are delighted to announce our new data center project in Guangzhou HuangPu District, the "Guangzhou Data Center Park", which sits at the heart of the Greater Bay Area, an excellent location providing an edge for us to build the foundation under the framework of the Greater Bay Area Economic Zone development policy.

      Following our successes of the Shanghai and Nantong data centers in the Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone, this new DC Park covers a gross floor area of 76,000 square meters, capable of housing 10,000 racks and is expected to start operation in Q1 2024.

      Capitalizing on the innovation-driven economic growth and rapid development in the Greater Bay Area, we believe the DC Park will be one of the gateways to this commercial hub by connecting with other networks to China for Hong Kong and global enterprises. We intend to bring the community together by providing an Industrial IoT Platform and Supercomputing Server Farm to support various industries and also the higher education institutions in their pursuit of innovation and R&D development.
